Cheer 2023
Our 2023 season has come to an end. We would like to thank everyone for
supporting our program and athletes. We hope to see you next season.
Registration will open: May 1st, 2023, Deadline to Register is Aug 7th, 2023.
Cost: $175
First day: Aug. 14, 2023
Payment plans can be set up at the time of registration. There will be a $3 processing fee with each payment assigned by the 3rd party processing company.
Player Eligibility:
Open to those going into 3rd- 8th Grade for the upcoming Fall School year and
Who attend one of the following schools:
o Grand Ledge Public Schools
o St. Michael Parish
o New Covenant Christian School
o Our Savior Lutheran
- Or who are home schooled but living within the Grand Ledge School District Boundaries.

***If your child(ren) are found not to attend one of the schools above or receives home schooling outside the Grand Ledge School District, then your child cannot participate within GLAYF or GLAYC. If you sign up and your child(ren) do not meet the location requirement, then your child(ren) will be removed from play and no refund will be issued. MMPFL has created and approved this rule and GLAYF/GLAYC is part of the MMPFL and must abide by this rule.
What you will need to provide for your cheerleader:
- White soft sole shoes and a water bottle.
- All grades need a pair of plain white shoes. Please try to avoid hard ridge on bottom if your daughter will be flying (up in mount) as it is uncomfortable for the bases. Supportive/ athletic shoes are suggested due to conditioning (running, etc.) (If you are unsure about cheer shoes, please ask your coach.
Uniform information:
*All GLAYC supplied uniforms will need to be handed in at the end of season.
*During registration you be asked to follow a link to 1st Place Sports where you will be able to select your athlete's navy blue turtle neck and bloomers. You will use the coupon code provided when selecting your athletes' items to Zero out the balance owed for ONE TOP AND ONE BLOOMER. If you wish to purchase more than one navy blue top or bloomer you will be responsible for that cost.
*Bodysuits and Bloomers will NOT need to be handed in at end of season. These are yours to keep.
** New this year - all grades will be wearing Navy Blue Crop Turtleneck and bloomers. (not white) You must purchase one navy blue crop top and Bloomer at time of registration using the code provided durring registration.
***Failure to return any equipment will result in a bill for the amount required to replace the missing equipment and could result in your athlete being ineligible to participate. This includes MIDDLE SCHOOL and HIGH SCHOOL football and cheer.
Refund Policy:
If your athlete decides he or she does not wish to participate:
A 100% refund of the registration fee minus $10 for processing can be obtained If your athlete withdraws from the program prior to the first day of practice.
If your child has received any GLAYF/GLAYC owned equipment this equipment must be returned before a refund can be processed.
NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED AFTER THE FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE!
