FOOTBALL 2024
The anticipation for the upcoming season is high, and we eagerly look forward to seeing your child take to the field!
Registration will open: April 1, 2024
Deadline to register is: April 12, 2024
Cost: $175
1st Day of conditioning: August 12, 2024
Payment plans can be set up at the time of registration. There will be a $3 processing fee with each payment assigned by the 3rd party processing company.
Player Eligibility:
Open to those going into 3rd - 6th grade for the upcoming Fall School year and who attending the following schools:
- Grand Ledge Public Schools
- St. Michael Parish
- New Covenant Christian School
- Our Savior Lutheran
- Home schooled and living within the Grand Ledge School District Boundaries

***If your child(ren) are found not to attend one of the schools above or receives home schooling outside the Grand Ledge School District, then your child cannot participate within GLAYF or GLAYC. If you sign up and your child(ren) do not meet the location requirement, then your child(ren) will be removed from play and no refund will be issued. MMPFL has created and approved this rule and GLAYF/GLAYC is part of the MMPFL and must abide by this rule.
If you have a child entering 7th or 8th grade wishing to play tackle football, please follow this link Grand Ledge Middle School Athletics page for more information. GLAYF only provides tackle football for those going into 3rd - 6th grade.
Equipment provided by GLAYF:
- Helmet
- Shoulder pads
- Practice Pants
- Practice Jersey
- Game Pants
- Game Jersey
These items will be handed out during designated appointments prior to conditioning week.
Failure to return any equipment will result in a bill for the amount required to replace the missing equipment and could result in your athlete being ineligible to play.
What equipment you will need to provide for your athlete:
- Mouth Guard – if you wear braces your orthodontist may provide you with an appropriate mouth guard.
- Cleats
- Cup
- Girdle - Yes these are mandatory
- Socks (your coaches will give more information on this once practice starts)

Refund Policy:
If your athlete decides he or she does not wish to participate:
A 100% refund of the registration fee minus $10 for processing can be obtained, if your athlete withdraws from the program prior to the first day of practice. If your child has received any GLAYF/GLAYC owned equipment this equipment must be returned before a refund can be processed.
NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED AFTER THE FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE!
