GLAYF posts the most entries for the Detroit Lions football camp - state wide!

In a state-wide contest Grand Ledge Youth Football has the most players attending a Lions football camp. GLAYF has 30 players that are signed up to go to the Lions camp at Waverly High during the first week of August. Players will learn fundamentals of football among other skills.

GLAYF Mission Statement:

To promote the game of Football and Cheer squads, so it may be enjoyed by as many young athletes as possible in the Grand Ledge Area.

Grand Ledge Area Youth Football (GLAYF) is an organization which provides football team and cheer squad opportunities to more than 750 boys and girls in the Grand Ledge area.   

GLAYF participates in a traveling league format. All GLAYF home games are played at Byam Field in Grand Ledge (across from Grand Ledge High School stadium). The Football teams and Cheer squads travel to member cities for away games.  GLAYF is a member of the Mid-Michigan Pony Football League (MMPFL) and they generate team schedules / game locations. For information on the MMPFL - click here

GLAYF is a non-profit organization registered with the State of Michigan. No officer or coach is paid any salary or fee for their services. All services provided are voluntary.    

GLAYF membership meetings are held monthly on the second Wednesday of each month at The Boy Scout Building on East River Street in downtown Grand Ledge at 8:00 PM.
